lol im just speaking in a way to back up the DE. The ve is def superior in many ways. But the DE is in my car, I will show the sr world that you can still have fun with the DE and make a lot of power.

After the DE'ss how up this year the VE's will get cheaper... Hahahah

Oh I think most all of us know that. I think most of us who have VE's now started with DE's somewhere along the line. Not everyone but surely a large percentage. The fastest car I had before the current was my 91 SE-R with original DE and bolt ons, dyno'd a mere 152HP @ wheels and it destroyed every Civic/Integra/whatever back in 1999-2001. The thing is though, it would never do that today as even stock Honda Accord V6's run like mid 14's right out of the dealership. The competition is much stiffer now so we're sort of lucky the VE exists because at this point it would be go deep into the pockets for those who want to stay away from boost with the DE or boost it and deal with a whole new set of variables. If you wanted to keep up with the competition that is. I knew basic bolt-on DE's were in trouble in 2003 when I raced (and lost) to my friend in a brand new Acura RSX Type-S that was STOCK and I had I/H/E/S4 cams/Pulleys etc in my 98 SE..

Sorry just friendly chat I have no one to talk to about SR20's or cars in general. I moved to a new house last summer relatively far from my closest friends and they all are married with kids anyway and don't do it anymore. Girlfriend/fiancée whatever she is doesn't care and flat out told me to stop talking about the car, she sees it as a distraction that is harming our relationship. so I have no where else to go.

VE > DE

Yes the almighty DE can hold it down in many different way but, the efficiency and power output of the VE is badass. That's both NA and on boost.

Dang, didn't know you went back that far. Impressive. I can only think of a handful of others who go back farther than that. IIRC March Schoenholtz bought his 91 SE-R brand new in 91. I didn't have a Sentra until 1998, but it wasn't my fault, I was too young to drive
