I remember that. Red B13 right? I was standing right next to that thing at Englishtown, circa 2001. I remember it had HUGE slicks and the skinniest rear tires ever, and it idled like a tank. That thing was awesome.

I might end up bringing a DE car if I get a bunch of work done in May...

100% correct but back in 2000-2001 it was difficult to get a VE so we did the best with what we had, full NA DE builds for those who had the cash or boost for others. No question, I've owned like 6 DE's in 15 years and 1 VE and I don't think I could ever go back to a DE now unless it was T28'ed

I'm not being a smarty pants but do you have actual reason(s) why the DE is better? Like is there something you can actually cite, or are you speaking in a more general way as far as application?

If there's something better about a bolt-on DE than a bolt-on VE I have not seen it.. maybe less stress on the transmission due to the extra power, ha-
