There are a bazillion yearly BMW gatherings. There are two, big, yearly Coupe gatherings (one on each coast). The East coast one is an hour North of me in Charlotte. Both of them are glorified cruises that don't interest me nearly as much as the SR20 community conventions. I prefer to see cars pushed hard. We really do have something special with our setup. I don't know of any other general engine/chassis enthusiast community that does real motorsport like us in a huge group every year. We also move around each year, which is logistically intense, but makes the experience each year really special.
