Good point,and I dont have ABS or traction control to worry about.Just the airbag.

I overthink everything..LOL Its a curse sometimes.Thats just me.
But my thoughts are that a 20+ year old ,generation 1 airbag may be unsafe...thats why I asked.maybe I really dont need to worry about it.


Jay, if it's not going off on the bumpy streets you travel every day, it's not going to go off around a brand new silky smooth track. Unless of course, you have an off and hit something. In which case, the same as on the streets, it could save your life. Besides, I think it's more dangerous having that light on the dash distracting you @120 mph. 2 cents.

Mine flashes all the time... I never notice it
