Oil / filter change, brake flush (Motul), and I am good to go (slow). Reading these kind of threads sometimes make me glad my SR20DE is bone stock.

See ya guys in Atlanta!

I'm slowly regretting the brake pad decision, but I'm still hoping for the best. If I plow into you at the end of the straight I'll just blame you for not warning me earlier. =P

Did you ever say if your Z was an M or not?

I remember you from 09. Cleanest NX I ever saw.

You are going to need to bed them again if you put street pads on. Unless you are swapping rotors also.

Trying to decide if I want to drive down on my summer/race tires or drive down on all seasons to save thread... All seasons are a ton quieter on the highway (taller).

Swap wheels/tires when you get to the hotel? Roof rack those tires? What tires are the summer tires?

It was a 2.8 Executive Edition in Dakar Yellow.....and ya, I told you so.

I'm using the ST-47's if it doesn't rain. On about the 3rd stop during the bed in process, I damn near went through the windshield. I've never had this kind of stopping power with AD22's before. Hopefully, they hold up to a whole day of punishment. Honestly, I could have left them on there for the ride down. They had plenty of cold bite. I just didn't want to use up rather expensive pads during general commuting.

You haven't told me so yet, I might just be fine out there with these pads.
I am having creeping doubts though.

Hank, you just described my experience bedding in the carbotechs. I swear it seemed like I stopped from 125 in 20 car lengths without locking a tire. Wowzers!

I am very impressed with the AX6 pads I got for my stock AD18 calipers on the new B13. I know it ain't no 54mm piston and 10.1" rotor but I am very happy considering my goals and thoughts are to try and maintain the stock components on the car.

Ready to go in the B13.
