Yeah,I was trying to ignore it in other posts...LOL

Well,it seems silly to me to go to a once a year sr20 convention, and leave your SE-R at home. And bringing a different make altogether,is even lamer.(when you have an srpowered car to bring).
I would have liked to see your SER again, but I could care less about the Bimmer.I am sure there are a bunch of choices every year to run the M on the track.
Dont get me wrong,Ben.I know you love it,and I am sure its a great car,but come on dude...really?
I hope you are just yanking our chains and show up with the sentra.
That my rant.hehe
Its all in good fun,but I am disappointed.

I'm okay with it if Ben covers the BMW propellers and in tape writes "Sentra Wannabe" on the doors.

I'm sorry to disappoint you Jay. The Sentra needs serious radiator shrouding to be reliable on the track in the summer, and that is something I'm not looking forward to doing. It also needs new tires all around to be safe and enjoyable on the track. It needs the audio fixed to make the drive tolerable, and since Katie is coming along the lack of A/C is another touchy point.

Go bug Connor or Nathan for bringing non-Nissan cars when they have perfectly good SR20-powered cars they leave at home.

Good answer.I would never want you to compromise safety.
And same with the AC for the trip.Definately want Katie to be happy.
Oh well,I tried.haha

Good news the B13 will probabaly be running by then.. bad news I wont have the money to make it to the convention unless my se-l sells. Even at that point I think I'd rather pay some debt down also.

New Trans-current one has 5th gear pop-out. Drove it to the last 2 conventions holding it in 5th the whole way. Not happening on a 12hr journey
New Clutch and Flywheel
Possibly suspension
Possibly new mounts and bushings all around

The work cant begin until after my finals two weeks before the convention.

For the long drive I will be bringing my forester. This week I just installed a vf-52 turbo (2009+wrx turbo same size as the sti) Turbo Smart Wastegate and Grimspeed Boost Control Solenoid. Hopefully it will be good for passes 13.5 or better

Clown shoe got a puncture in one of the new rear tires yesterday. I was promised I could get into the parking garage on the weekend to deal with it, so I stayed at work Friday instead of fixing it.

Now they are telling me I might not be able to get in this weekend.

WTF?! That's why I called on Friday to make sure you ass-hats.

Edit: Yay they let me in!
