Was yours an M?

BIG difference...

Not just in brake size and capacity, but they have brake cooling ducts as well where the regular Z3s have fog lights.

My engine oil came in, so the last thing to order are front tires. The front brake pads and rotors came in recently too after a scare on the rotors (might not have been available in the US anymore).

I'll probably do the oil change this weekend and then the front brakes and front tires some time in late May. Just trying to get all the life I can out of those components since they still have life in them, but the front tires won't pass tech, and the front brake pads may or may not pass so I'm not taking the chance.

Once the front calipers are loaded up with new pads I can also measure everything for clearance requirements (new wheels on the way soonish).

Ben,maybe its me...but from the looks of this post, you are bringing the German Clown Shoe, instead of your SE-R.
What's up with that?

soooooo much more work to do than originally stated/intended... maybe i'll get around to updating a build thread or two soon.

I've said I'm taking the BMW to the convention in a few prominent places. You guys must have missed it.

The clown shoe is just going to me more fun on the track and all around less stress. It has A/C too. Lots and lots of reasons I'm taking it instead of the SE-R this year. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about the little Sentra that could.

Yeah,I was trying to ignore it in other posts...LOL

Well,it seems silly to me to go to a once a year sr20 convention, and leave your SE-R at home. And bringing a different make altogether,is even lamer.(when you have an srpowered car to bring).
I would have liked to see your SER again, but I could care less about the Bimmer.I am sure there are a bunch of choices every year to run the M on the track.
Dont get me wrong,Ben.I know you love it,and I am sure its a great car,but come on dude...really?
I hope you are just yanking our chains and show up with the sentra.
That my rant.hehe
Its all in good fun,but I am disappointed.
