Thread: Saturday June 8th @ Fort Yargo

I am pleased to announce that we have confirmed reservations for the picnic / car show location. We will be at Fort Yargo State Park in Winder, GA.

We have secured Group Shelter A and Picnic Shelter #3 from 9 am - 5 pm on Saturday June 8th.

Each car must pay a $5 parking fee at front gate. Be aware that this is a state park so there are no alcoholic beverages allowed. There is a beach a couple hundred yards from our secured area. I took some pics while Gloria and I were there yesterday, I will get those posted as soon as I can.

We would prefer not to have to sell picnic tickets, but would like to run this event on donations. I am also looking for someone to head up both the picnic and the car show. Please pm me if interested in either of these activities.

Fo. Everyone coming to the picnic. Keep straight after the gate and pass all the people running on the road and go all the way to the end and that is where the shelter and picnic area is located
