You only have to wear a helmet if you run 13.99 and quicker

What are the minimum specs for the helmet? I haven't run my car down the 1/4 yet, but I know she's faster than that and I want to do more than 1 run before I get booted.

I've always wondered this in general about drag racing...what if you don't know what your car runs, but you think it should run faster than 13.99? Do you start off with no helmet and only wear one after you run a 13.99?

Cool. Luckily I have a helmet(did a track day out at Heartland Park this year), but I was j/w about this for a long time before I even had a helmet.
