I don't know what standard tech requirements include, they follow NHRA guidelines. While there may be some room for interpretation, the faster your car is (and let's face it these guys will have a pretty good idea as to how fast you will be) the stricter they are likely to be. The last thing they want is for an incident where someone can come back and blame them for allowing unsafe conditions on the track.

Which IMHO is how it should be.

We have a little surprise coming from Cali. Something nice and simple, nothing pretty about it at all.. But will get the job done.

@happynole, can you ask if they will be abel to do some licensing passes?? ill have all the other required safety equipment except the comp license...and also if they will be lenient on the mph rule, because most fwd cars that are fast will trap over 135/150

I wouldn't say that bud there are some nice big turbo cars coming out and as far as Chappy car is concerned only way he is gonna go fast is with a chain tied to the rear bumper of another car lol.
