Can't happen, 6 speeds don't break. They take a gazillion hp and are indestructible.

I think he was talking about the 5 speed breaking at the line. hahaha. Yeah the 6 speed wont make you go any faster but it does have a traction advantage over the VLSD thats for sure. Dependant on which 6 speed is being use it might have an advantage as far as gearing goes as well depending on the setup one vs the other. A p12 gearbox on a T2 setup would probably see an advantage with the gearing as it should be crossing the line close to redline in 4th vs not even close in the 5 speed box.

It was under the impression that the 6 speed would have an advantage (traction too I guess) with the shift points. So yeah you pretty much got it.
