If Savannah is no longer an option have you considered having the convention in Jacksonville. Pooler and Roebling road is 2 hours to the north. Jacksonville has lots of cheap hotels, nice restraunts and a nice beach. If you really must have a 1/4 mile track Gainesville Raceway is an hour and a half to the south west.
