Thread: Non-Attendees: You owe it to yourself....

I really wanted to go , but as it has been life or work has had other plans for me , this year work decided I was going to be in Florida , for the next three weeks , last year we were moving across country , and the story goes on from everything to baby's being due within a few weeks of the convention to moving yet again across country , I have to take time out to go to one ....

Only the true enthusiasts will make the drive. There's some guys in south FL, that won't drive up 50-75 miles for a meet because its too far.

I really wanted to go this year, but getting a new house, and all the upgrades I've done have made it hard to save up money. Hell, I picked up a part time job just to make ends meet

I'm hoping I can make the next one. Maybe I'll have a Nissan by then

Yup, got rid of it about a year ago. Still have my wife's condo we need to get rid of now.

i wanted to go too but as same thing many years financials were not in my favor.

I agree, I went to the LA convention without my car and felt like I was lost.... driving the rental was like taking a water gun to a gunfight.
