the convention in 09 was closer to florida and no one from fl came up

I really wanted to go, but asking for some days off at my job is an issue . If somebody is already off nobody else can have the same day off. And there are some people at my job that ask for time off all the time especially before and after a weekend. I don't call in sick if I'm not sick, jobs r hard to find these days. I'll do anything I can to try to go next year. I need to have the date at least with 6 months in advance. Hopefully next year will be the year. People who knows me they know that I don't like to miss any Nissan meeting

There were a couple FL guys in '09. Nothing like you'd expect though.

Not true, I'd say about 7-10 florida guys(Serban, Rodrigo, Nick, Russel, and a few more) including my self drove to Savanna... I've been planning to go to another its just the cards im being delt are'nt working for me. I would have loved to have been able to go to the past 2 in CT and OH. the next upcomming convention I should be in attendance.

I think he was trying to convey thoughts as this:

You have AT LEAST 200 guys in Florida alone, not all are on the forum, but the gatherings you guys claim to have are massive.

Out of those massive groups of SR heads and enthusiasts, only limited numbers make it to the convention (in their backyard, practically!)...

I have flown to the last 2 conventions.You dont need your car to have a blast.
This last one was one of the best times I ever had,car or not.

Yep! But when I went to ask for those days somebody already got them . A lot of people ask for time off at the end of May and the beginning of June for graduation stuff. Like I said, at my job, some people r always asking to have Fridays and Mondays off. Hopefully next time I'll get better luck.
