Thread: Non-Attendees: You owe it to yourself....

I'm guessing I've spent 2-3 hours per day looking at photos and videos in this Section. On Monday night, Tuesday morning really, I was up at 2:30 am in the Convention Section. After a 12-hour drive, with another 12-hour drive starting in the morning. WTF was I thinking.....I was so excited by the Convention Experience and photos I did not even look at the clock.

The forum itself is more fun to visit and interact with when you have face-to-face met the OP of the given Members Ride thread. When you have seen "that specific car" up close and personal. Put your hands on it (I helped push-start a car, LOL), talked to the owner, maybe driven it (Joes Panda), or taken photos of it. Watched it blaze around (or down) a track.

I could have stayed home and easily bought a VE (with all supporting mods including tuning, LOL) with the money I spent. However, attending a Convention is priceless.

If you did not make the Ohio Convention, you owe it to yourself to attend the next one.

Where ever the hell it is, that is where to be.

Still not happy we left without letting you drive my car to see what a very mild turbo setup would be like. Hopefully we can talk sound levels versus motors in the coming year.

If there were a possibility I'd have been there. Next year I am going to have the time one way or another.

If its closer next year I will attend ;-) and I wasn't gonna fly up and be without my car....nope. Glad you guys and glads have a great time, Pics are awsome!!!!

No car for me in Connecticut. Did not matter, I had a Ford Renta-Mustang and an absolute blast.

I drove 1,102 miles one-way from my house to Rob's in Ohio. Savannah was 968 miles one way. Connecticut was 1,500 miles one-way, I tried to drive, got sick, turned around...and then flew to that bitch.

Treydee, you are placing more importance on your specific car than on the Convention itself sir. You're worried about the mileage.

I geuss I could have taken the 350 up there. Next year I'm probably going to do all the Z stuff and Sr20 stuff. Going to be logging a crap load of miles on both cars. O yeah and can't forget the Nissan meets.

Hell my son might even tag along. As what I have not told him, and this is the reason I want him helping on the VE project, is he's almost 16 and I want him to have the B13 when he starts driving.
