Places like Lime Rock will be too expensive to rent I'm guessing.

Hallett is great, but Heartland Park in KS screwed us over a few years back and being from KC, not many will show up in the middle of the country.. most of the action is on east coast and the eastern part of the midwest.

Before you all get too carried away, there will be an open letter to the community forthcoming.

Lets just say that there will be greater organization leading into the future, and there will be a committee to handle things of this nature.

While we listen to all input from the attendees, we still need to do lots of research. Once the current committee members responsible for the tracks decide on the best track(s) to host the next event, we will then choose additional committee members, and the letter to the community will be drafted/published.

Please be patient as these things do not happen overnight, ESPECIALLY considering we JUST concluded a kick-ass convention.

Yeah, it's not like I'm going to be there. I just like giving people a hard time.

Search in your local areas, boys. Find a drag strip and find a track we can all go to. The cheaper the better!

PA has Maple Grove which is a national drag strip and very nice and very strict also.

For what its worth, Putnam Park in Indiana wants $9000 per day, all inclusive. With ambulances, 20 garages, tow truck and full staff.

That's pretty typical. They get pretty good money since a lot of pro teams go there to test.
