I've got a new cap and rotor as well as a set of plugs to do on Monday. Bleed the brakes with fresh fluid, give her a bath and we should be set

Joe, your car looks great.

Had about 30 min of free time before coming to work so I decided to put the headlights, corners and grill on.

I found a serious issue with my tune today while going over the idle settings (turned out I blew the damn idle valve fuse over a week ago and didn't find the issue right away). Anyway, the ignition timing wasn't retarded with high intake temps, it was being advanced!

It's been that way for years and a couple motors as far as I know. I don't think it is the sole reason for my issues, but it certainly wasn't helping any.

The stale gasoline is almost all gone and I put some fresh 93 in there and got on it a bit. The car is so slow now with 5 psi (not sure if it is creeping anymore yet) and the lower ignition timing. I think even the scoobies are going to be pulling on the straights.
It needs more boost for sure, but that's going to come after the convention. For now it is basically ready to rock!

I washed the exterior today. The car is in rough shape. =(

Got the fuel dialed in (at least in the 100 kPa and above areas) and I finally know what my boost curve looks like with the new wastegate. It builds to a 4 psi peak at 4k rpm and then drops a little only to recover and slowly creep to 9 psi by redline. So silly, and pretty slow.

Just need the oil changed and maybe clean the interior some, it is also a mess.

Exterior. Check. Waxed like a mofo.

Interior. Check. Clean as can be and as fully-intact as it's been since 2009.

Engine Bay. Check. The cleanest it's been since new, and good as I am ever going to get it.

Gee Rob, looks like I have one HUGE custom CF parcel shelf for the entire back of my Tahoe.

Loading the Classic onto the U-haul in about an hour or so.

Just cranked it over for the first time WITH BOOST! Still have a bunch of loose ends to reinstall (little things like axles, and brakes), but at this point, I'll be bringing the SE-R, not the Miata. It'll be nice to have a turbo SE-R again.

Now you're gonna have to change your sig.

You know I'd love to ride along on a road course in a boosted Sentra with a pilot with some skills.
