motor is ready to go in. upgraded my rear trans mount bolts to 17mm for those hard launches and I will be ready to have some fun on the highway

Hurt my back pretty bad last night so I am taking the night off and hopefully getting back at it tomorrow. Its going to be a long shot but I am still pushing.

Did you use that red high temp paint from autozone? If so they always seem to peel unless you properly cure or coat the thing with several coats of high temp clear.

The paint i used on mine is actually bronze wheel paint and then about 3 coats of high temp clear. So far so good

Na, thats my very first VE valve cover. Its actually a wrinkle red. It finally started chipping up over the years. Its broken near the front where the hole is for a bolt so I didn't bother painting it. Trying to get my hands on a new one.

Found out the reason why I had a leak when the car idled for too long:

Worked out since my o-rings leaked on my oil filter housing so new ones are going on as well as a new oil pressure gauge.

Got a new hose on. Gotta put my IM back on and drive the bitch around. Been busy with class so maybe I can get some time later to bolt it back together once I finish up some paperwork.
