You are correct. Plus when the convention was in California a few times, everyone just called it the "California" convention. I attended "Salt Fest" in 2001 in Rochester, NY and there were probably like 60 people and 40 cars. A hell of a lot for the middle of winter in the snow-belt. So many cars a lot of people didn't get to do their planned work. Then the next year it was an invite only thing because the shops were scared of insurance reasons.

Yeah, I didnt even get my first se-r until 2003. I had a 92 NX1600 autotragic back then that i got in 99. I knew once i joined the old forum after I got it that I wanted to get an SE-R and finally got that opportunity in 03 and never looked back.
