Ben,

Racing is $20 IIRC and $10 for spectators. I may be off by a few bucks.

The roadcourse is only from10-4 so it will leave plenty of time to hit up the drag strip. But thats ok because if gives everyone the option to pick and choose what to do and can always go again on sat.

At Omaha we did roadracing and drag racing the same day since it was at the same locatation.

Another reason phoenix would be a great place for a convention as well. Firebird International Raceway is awesome. Very very nice dragstrip that is always prepped awesome even on test and tune nights and several roadcourses all in one area. Nice roadcourses as well. Its right in the heart of phoenix as well. I think Phoenix needs to eventually be on the Convention List sometime in the future.

Just a suggestion. I know its far for a lot of you east coast boys to travel though.

Did you go when the convention was in Phoenix?

Sounds great, but it looks like the rest of the conventions may be east of the Mississippi from now on. But who knows.

When was the last one in Phoenix?

Heck I didnt even get to make it to the Vegas one. I had plans to go but had stuff come up last minute plus my car was down at the time as well. This will be my first Convention and I assure you im going to do everything I can to make it every year.

Been in the scene too long to have never gone to one. My own fault most of the time not being aware but also most of the time didnt have the funds to go or something came up.

Thats also fine as im back in Texas now so while this convention is still a pretty far drive, its not as bad as if I had to come from Yuma, Az so hey im all for it. Texas has some pretty good spots as well and would be centralized. Again just another thought for upcoming Conventions.

The conventions should NEVER come back west. When it comes to conventions, the east puts it down.
