HMM what about an ultimate SE-R challenge.

People can compete in drag race, car show, and autocross. Top finisher gets a prize of some sort. I am sure I can get something from a vendor or sponsor for a prize. Any takers? I would organize the scoring system and create the judging panel for the car show for those competitors.

I am available to drive for the autocross if anybody wants to increase their chances for success...

I am trying my hardest! I will likely not drive, I will probably ride along or fly assuming I can make it.

Hmmmm, I think I will be offering my car up to you if I make it then!!

Like everybody else, terrific idea. I think I'd be competitive in two out of three categories.

Unless....the drag portion was split into categories. Turbo, VE, DE, unlimited or something. Although that might make things too complicated (?).

I'd also let you drive my autocross section. Even better if having a weight penalty of 220 pounds in the passenger seat would not slow you down much. Might even have my CSK's by then.

As my skills are nil, I have a terrrific time as a passenger. Chriscar and Martin_G37 both schooled me in Savannah. One in my Classic and one in a rental....IIRC....PT Cruiser.

I do not want to step on toes here, I am not a convention organizer and I have tremendous respect for those that put this together in such a quick and professional manner. That said I will gladly organize the Ultimate SE-R challenge if the organizer's approve of the activity.

With that said I can easily come up with a set of rules and judging criteria for the entrants so we have a fair comparison. I will index the autocross run times based on modifications also so that it is somewhat in line with SCCA classes. Dyno. will be handled the same and the car show is the easy part.

I have done all of this before and will gladly post guidelines and rules....

Let's not discuss this in this thread any further until we get clarification from the organizers. If they give us the go ahead I will crate a new thread and moderate that for entrants. I am PM'ing the organizer's now.
