Also when reserving a car online your usually not guaranteed the car on the website. You are reserving the class of vehicle. So it could be any car in the same class.

Like was said above, they'll hit you for a surcharge for being "underage" You can make a reservation online so you'll have SOMETHING and be in their system and then you can survey the lot when you arrive. I've heard of others having good luck through Hertz

It all depends on what state you are in. They will hit you with the extra charge for being under 25. IIRC, NY was the only one in the NE that would rent to me in 07, but I was only like 21 then.

Okay,

A birdy told me that it's best to call and select your reservation, request specific car, not just class (with Hertz)

They have Mazda Miatas, Ford Mustang Convertibles, 370z, G37 coupe or sedan, Subaru Outback Sport wagon (), Audi A6, Corvette, and if you're SUPER lucky, a Lotus Elise SC Hertz Edition

And apparently select locations for Enterprise received the Lotus as well.

$200/day, and 100 miles included, she said. Additional mileage for an additional price, and you MUST have your own insurance, or you will be denied the Lotus.

This makes me want to fly in and get a lotus instead of towing the B13 up.

In 2003 one of the corner workers had a work van. At the end of the day, they let the corner workers have 15 minutes on the track. We all watched in amazement at how incredibly fast this guy was pushing the van around the track. When we went to compliment the guy on his mad skillz, we saw that he was an amsoil distributor and the entire van was full of fluid!!! We were all dissapointed in our own ability.

There's this guy I know how was able to catch and pass a Porsche GT2 in his FX45. I saw it with my own two eyes
