I know I won't be drinking like I did in Savannah, Thursday night. I didn't wake up and head to the track until noonish! Friday night, now that's another story

Wouldn't that be a "wheelburu"?

This convention will be like a mullet... all business up front and party in the back.

i honestly couldn't care less about the number of attendees... i should be there from ohio with atleast 4 of my se-rs... it's the damn east coast, there WILL be a good turn out... i will say i am waiting on hotel info mostly for friends who would like to join... i can probably have 10 people just with me show up from ohio... once hotel info is up they will be confirmed... they don't have se-rs and some don't even have nissans, so they won't be officially registered... that is a perfect example of why people shouldn't be concerned about the size of the list... so man up and register, i should have 4-5 people registered with me by the end of the month... shit, i may even trailer my drag car out... it's gonna be huge people!

But see, registering helps the convention cause there's this stuff called money. That keeps the organizers motivated so they know they aren't putting up thousands of their own dollars so that people can "crash" it. Or put together something that people MAY/MAY NOT come to.

So, whether someone owns a nissan or a yugo, they register and at least pay a registration fee.

i can't make them do anything though... i have said to them just register and you get cool stuff and all that... but since i am going to be registering probably 5 people for sure, i'm not gonna bitch at them about it

This is why conventions are so difficult to organize. Next year we are going in an entirely different direction to ensure no one gets hung out to dry. I really feel for Kieran and Ray at this point. There are tough decisions to be made, and soon.

A friend of ours in the Bel Air area is definitely in. He'll likely be registering soon, if not already registered. His brother will likely attend as well. That's +2, and both will do the track day, pretty sure.

I posted this in the Mid-A section:

I purchased a 4x6 trailer and will be pulling it behind the wagon up to the convention. If you're in the area and have something you want pulled, get with me and we can work details. Track day parts/wheels take precedence, as I will already have goodies in the trailer.

We're having a little together in a week and I'm going to find out who's going to the convention from my area.
