Just a *LITTLE* update... I spoke with the guy who I want to organize the entire event this past weekend and he's still trying to pinpoint a date with the track. He's starting to piss me off and the alternative is to go right to the track. But then I risk losing that relationship and have to go and get insurance, EMT/tow, and flaggers on my own which would be a LOT more work and not-so-much fun. Not to mention I don't even want to know what the cost of insurance would be in the northeast with an unknown entity like we'd be. It'd be much better to go under the umbrella of NASA but the guy is starting to slack

Rental cars are where it's at. Malibus, Gs, Maximas, and even a Mini or two, I hear.... anything to get you on the track, whether it's your car or not, is an absolute blast!

I tore a rental neon apart for Pocono and tracked it. Wore the brand new tires to the cords by the time I got it back home - the Enterprise girl was none too pleased, but, who cares.

Do it, you won't do it.

I REALLY hope I can make this one. If it weren't for this work noise........

Is there an age requirement to rent a car out in the east coast?

It's typically 25 no matter where you are, unless you pay for under 25 insurance. Then it's 21 as the minimum with insurance.
