I don't get it. It sounded like NICO had like scores and scores of members just lined up to go and the SR20 guys were like those sucker fish on a shark along for the ride. I thought it was gunna be Z cars and 240s and G cars as far as the eyes can see.
Weird.

Did I make that up or did anyone else get that impression? And if so, what happened with the NICO crowd?

I also had that wild dream.

I think the SR crowd made up the half at the track. There were a lot more 240's at the car show, but the SR crowd was pretty strong.

Our entire goal (had you read our initial proposals and the NissanConvention.com website) was to incorporate ALL Nissan vehicles, while retaining the traditions and excitement of past SR20 conventions.

I think we did a good job.

Like Ben and Wes said (and like I've said since I started in this biz in 2002), it's ALWAYS been about the people, not the cars. Those who stayed home "because there's gonna be other cars there" really missed out.

Next year, bigger and better. The only way the SR guys will ever be "outnumbered" is if they stay home.

I'll try not to let that happen.

Next year we are planning on my B13, Gloria's G20, Tiffany's B15, and Kimme's NX. We are up 4-nil at this point

Aside from the obvious down-side (the financial ass-kicking), as far as I'm concerned, it just gave everyone that much more track time.

Wish I'd had time for a ride in the JoeMobile, I'm seriously considering a B13 track car after seeing yours (and the ITB car) perform.
