Thread: Rain?

2 track days means a better chance for one day to be dry! I will have both the street tire and race tire card covered as well as a different air filter setup if it is raining...

Instead of spectating why not protect yourself from the elements in a car ON THE TRACK. $125 for two days.... Anyone that is NOT taking advantage of that is crazy!

true true, but I think my car doesn't qualify for some of the 'safety' regulations and I don't have the time to get it rated correctly. I also don't have a helmet. Maybe next time Car is too fresh, it's not even finished yet. I only have 1 radiator fan ;/

Gomba, you don't need radiator fans if you're on the track. F1 cars use them at all. If you're relying on a radiator fan to keep your car cool, you're driving to slow

But yeah, there is no backup plan per se. If it rains it rains, doesn't change anything. Unless a tornado touches down at the track, then we'll still be running. And since Kojima isn't coming, we don't have to worry about tornadoes.

Forecast DOES change every hours =D
Said it was going to be thundering yesterday here wednesday yet no rain, then it was supposed to rain at 10am, no rain, then 11am ect ect it kept changing saying the next hour was going to rain and it didn't rain till about 4 in which it barely rained for about 30 mins lol.
point of story is just it's always changing =D

Amazing! Checking the forecast again just now and it only shows AM T-showers for Friday.

More important than rain... check your cooling systems. The forecast (as of NOW) shows 88 and 89 so it'll be hot. Bring plenty of water for yourself too to keep hydrated.

this is true. I drove and road raced my car for years not realizing the fans were not working. Never overheated.



If it rains I will like to see how the symmetrical all wheel drive comes into play.
