Ray and I have our air, lodging, and rental booked... even though it was financially stupid for me. I'm waiting for the tax return to register but I'm definitely there. No FWD SR though Joe... we'll be in a Hertz Toyota or something... "aaaaahhhh, we can't stop!"

Financially speaking... I can't afford to go and it will be my birthday weekend I have nothing I feel confident enough to bring all the way and race right now. NX is gone, and my b14 is my daily... I have to fix my truck and save my spring money to do big things on the 240... House and Winter Bills kicking my ass! But I'm rooting for all my SR people going!

A convention without Chris, is just not a convention, although Ray could probably make up for it.

I really want to go, but I won't know til its just around the corner. Plan is to drive up with a few people.

I think the location of the convention is the bad thing. That and the economy is really bad right now.

You came up to the Nashville meet last year, right?

Agreed. Location, location, location. The economy was bad last year and the SE convention still had a great turn out! Same with the North East conventions of the past... great turn out every year due to the location.

Best of luck this year with the convention. If you live close to it there is no reason not to go!
