Okay, the change of plans is intriguing. My dream of running Road America wide-open in the SE-R will have to remain just that, a dream.

So, Nebraska.

I can see us either;
1. Flying in, and renting something *really* juicy to bounce around on the track. Maybe one of the new 306hp Camaros or something. Or...
2. Driving my E46 BMW out there, all the way. No way I would drive the SE-R that far, then track it, then hope to make it home to WV.

Either way...sounds like mucho fun.

I guess I'm the only one bummed you aren't going to Road America ...I haven't heard much about Mid-America (other than those who went the 1st time with NASA had little to no interest in going again and registration was so low for the 2nd scheduled date that NASA canceled going there)

It's middle of nowhere :*( I'd rather go to Mid-Ohio if I'm going to drive 6+ hours but I guess that's just me....

Road America would have been sweet yes! But at what cost? They tried to up the price, plus we will be able to have more things we can do with cars at Mid-America.

I sort of doubt it BUT it will depend on what other events are happening that weekend, etc. (for example, if Midwest Council or NASA has a race that same weekend, that's where we would be)

It is a really long drive and will just be that much more expensive for towing/fuel etc.

If nothing else is happening/scheduled that weekend and we can do a calculation showing we can afford the trip (depends on if we are both working, etc.) AND can get the time off, we MIGHT go but there is plenty of time to decide at this point.
