I know it's a little late in the game, but I do TONS of business yearly with the Staybridge Suites. If there happens to be a Staybridge in the area, I would VERY likely be able to get group rates/discounts. I generally do group conferences and book over 50 rooms at a time, for at least 3 weeks.

LMK, just thought I'd help if I could.

Nevermind, I see the closest hotel I can get group rates at is the Candlewood Suites, but it's in Bellevue, NE.

I don't know how far that is from the track, but it looks like it's going to be a good 15~20 minute drive?

That's actually quite a bit closer to the track than the ES. The ES is going to be about 30-40 mins. However, we've already met with the manager at the ES and have a deal being worked with them, so I'm not sure it'd be worth the effort to work on changing it at this point. I'm not familiar with the Candelwood Suites either. Anyway, thanks for the offer on the connection, but I think we've got it pretty well worked out already.

No worries! If things don't seem to work out well, for whatever reason, let me know. They absolutely love my business and it's only a phonecall away

If I decide to fly to Chicago, I might be down to roll.

There has to be a mid point somewhere in IL where we all can meet. Caravans are half the fun of going down there!
