Didn't think my thread would create that much drama?!

I'm all for it, though I guess my initial post may have been a little cloudy to some. All that matters is that I drive out there, have a good time, and drive back with a smile on my face

I could really care less WHO hosted/sponsored the event. As long as it happens, I'll be there. It takes a lot of heart to put a convention together. I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

I don't really see this thread as drama thus far. It's all in good convo for the most part. Just some needed questions that are/were going to be asked eventually. My wow comment was for the name change of the event. I wish it could be the SR20 convention, but it not, it's all good

Yeah, that's why I included the link, because it just caught me by surprise that it was pretty much the current accepted direction by everyone who's organizing something. Oh well, I'll accept it, it just takes time.

I'm all new to the convention stuff but I do it for the friends that I have made through this forum and the old one. I could care less how its done its just a good time and I'm sure it will change a little now but the sr20 guys will stick together.

If you want to know the maximum speed your car can go, this is the place.

WIR is still there and the fox valley sports car club still holds a couple auto-x's there every year.

****, just two days?! The wife and I are planning on making it a 10 day to 2 week excursion.

We're going to do some sight seeing on the way there, and on the way back.
