Hell we're already planning on running out there from Spokane, WA. I'm bringing my cars, my buddy's bringing his R33 and his brother's bringing his mkiv tt supra, and maybe even a few other cars. I'm excited as hell for this one. I was bummed that I couldn't make Savannah
Lance

Don't mind me.

Is the date a typo? Says "2009".

I think there are some changes on the horizon for 2010. I'm hoping Torry posts up some solid information soon.

Exactly, I've been waiting for some more solid information before I make the official change. We're trying to hammer out some details right now before we post up. I will tell you this though:

The convention will not be at Road America like originally planned. Long story short, but they were going to charge us almost double what was originally quoted. Plus, they stopped returning my emails for some reason.

Anyway, we've changed the location of the convention to Omaha, NE. The track will be Mid-America Motorplex. The date is going to be in June, but we haven't locked down on which weekend yet (it'll either be the 1st or 2nd weekend in June).

Changing it to this track is allowing us to do much more for a lot less money. We'll have full access over track, drift, *and* drag for the entire weekend, and we're working in the possibility of some other types of motorsports as well (possibly off-road, and/or autoX as well).

I've been busy as hell because I just moved to NC last weekend and right now I'm back and forth between NC and GA for work a few times a week, so I've been swamped. But we're trying to work out all the details on the track in the next week or so, and I should have an info page up in the next 2 weeks. Registration will be up as soon as we work out the remaining details and pricing, but it will be VERY affordable. So stay tuned!

Yeah, not to mention that I went to RA in June to tour the track. While we were there, life-flight landed on the track to take some guy to the hospital. We found out the next day that he died. It kind of set a whole new reality in that RA is probably too big of track for most people that will be going. That combined with the doubling of the price, topped off by the communication stopping, pretty much made it a clear decision that we needed to find an alternative.
