It's really up to you. It'd be cool to try to stick with a Nissan color though. You can find color chips online, that go back several years, or, just visit your local dealer and take a look at their samples on those color/trim boards.

I'll be doing a full repaint on my SE-R this winter, and have narrowed it down to 2 different colors. British racing green, or a deep lake blue. No metallic or pearl in either one, just a deep clearcoat finish.

I thought about this for a while, as well. I'm thinking about re-shooting the car with the same paint code (platinum gold, IIRC), but adding some pearl to it, this time around. She's in need of a paintjob, IMO. I think it would look decent with some blue pearl tint in the silver.

It's always the easiest to reshoot any car with a different shade of the same basecoat. Less time consuming, and you don't have to worry about the shop doing a good job with the tiny details inside door jams, trunks, engine bays, etc.
