Thread: Rear Brake UpGrade

I know I can use maxima rears, and iv read somewhere I can use other rears. I think from a G20. What year G or does it not matter? iv also already done the front(AD22s) and now its time for the rears, the last thing is the MC any reccomendations other than an Altima and from what year altima?

I used the one from a 98 Nissan Maxima when I did mine. I didn't want to pay the high price of the direct fitment rotors so I redrilled them on my own. Here is what I used when I did mine:

1998 Nissan Maxima rear calipers with the caliper bracket AND the E-brake bracket that is connected to the caliper

1998 Nissan Maxima rear rotors: Redrilled the lug pattern on my own

Brake pads and caliper hardware kit

Trim the dust shield to house the bigger rotors

SER brake lines are direct boltons

ive got 94 max rear cali's now, but im gonna use nx rotors. interestin idea bout redriling the maximas to fit...hmm..

anybody know about the P10 rears??? being the same as the maxima

They are either the same or so similar that it doesn't matter. I have the P10 rears + P10 pads + ABS NX rotors on my NX. Everything bolted right up.

the Maximas rear is bigger than the Altima, P10 ,GTI-R and P11.

rodrigo, what year maxima i think from a 93-94, or a 95(when they changed body style), i have the set from the P10 but if the maxima is bigger ill go for them

its from a 95 SE ,and up but its the A32 body.

The P10 will work as well but you will still need to redrill the rotors.

No redrilling needed, just use NX rear disc with ABS, same size as the P10 rears (258 mm). I know the P10 rear calipers are an upgrade for the b13 folks, but has anyone attempted this on the b14's?

i've got some maxima rear calipers i'm gonna use as an upgrade on my b14, soon as i can find some new NX rotors for cheap...
