Thread: B14 lucino carbon fiber rain guards

I got my hands on a set of rare oem nissan lucino rain guards i would like to know who would be in for a set of rain guards ? I would like to see if there is any interest on this and how many people would be in for one made out of carbon fiber i got couple buddies who are good with mouldings and fiber glass just a matter of getting all the right material , carbon cloth,vaccum pump,resin and all to make this happen , if there aren't quite many people ill prob still make myself a copy anyways just because i think its a rare piece that i got my hands on and i had this idea on my head for a long time and would like to contribute to this forum , as far as price i dont know yet again just testing waters depending on the amount of crowd involve in the equation

Just to confirm, these stick IN the groove of the window(by the glass) ? Or ON the exterior of door?

They have metal flanges that sit in the grove where window sits and the double sided tape that follows your current (chrome plastic upper window trim) im just gonna throw these set on my b14 after i color match my lucino mirrors to that teal color just test fitted them last night and iits gonna cover half of the side mirror where it connects to the window so i better finish mirrors before they go in

There's been several failed plans for CF parts. I'd like to see a well laid out plan and some samples of any CF items your buddies made before I would decide...or have they only later fiber glass?

I dont need to see more interest than this lol was planning on dumping tax refund into this project , buddy work well with glass but he said doesn't take much to add the fiber (having the correct supplies ) moved on from this prob be one the the few b14 rocking them

x2 Too many people have come on here with ambitious plans that get everyone excited and then nothing happens. Shame on those people. Shame...
