I don't like my 16's very much. I think they look very good, but I will be selling them and going with some 15" Enkei RPF1's or Kosei K1's. They should be much lighter and tire selection will be about triple what it is for 16's.

I had 16x7 SSR Type Cs for a while with 205/45/16 and 205/55/16 tires with no rubs or scrapes and my car is on partially cut roadmagnets. My 16"s were 10lbs a piece without tires so it don't get much lighter than that. My car was faster on those than my SER wheels with 205/50/15 tires. My new wheels are going to be 16x8 +20

I think it depends on the wheel a lot too the major reason people say 17s look ricey is because most people that get them get really ugly wheels, I think a nice set of wheels will still look good in 17s on a b14. I agree though 16s do look good on a b14.
