96 200sx se-r questions

so kinda like the title says I'm trying to figure a few things out. I have a real bad problem with rust some of it is due to poor maintenance.. does anyone know why every 200sx I've looked at has rust on the door jam on both sides...?

Also what is the specs for a stock clutch if anyone knows

if it has a moon roof it is because the water the trickles down from it goes right into the door jam. Plus on top of it the dirt, water, and whatever else that gets kicked up from the road from the tires all just sits and gets stuck right there.

I am trying to prevent that rust on my 96 b14. As of now she has no rust and I want to keep it that way. The only thing I can figure is to remvoe the fenders every so often and clean all that crap out. Anyone know of anything else I can do to prevent this?

Check your sunroof drains and make sure water flows easily (that they are clean and clear)

..and what was already said, remove the fenders to clean out the muck behind there often!

try some automotive undercoating is the areas that are likely to rust.
