Thread: b14 se-r BC stage 2 cam problem

so I installed my bc cams back in october an I broke them in correctly but ever since ive installed them if I hit WOT an rev past 6k and let off like im going to come to a stop light my idle stays high at about 2k.

any suggestions on what could cause this

nothing to do with the cams need to check for vac leaks and do the adjust idle dance

Possible:

-bent Throttle Body Lever or getting stuck on the valve cover
-PCV Hose cracked causing VAC leak
-Throttle Cable binding - not lined up correctly

Smoke test will find VAC leaks real quick.

cool thanks for the advice I will definitely try some off these things on my day off

if you dont have the smoke test use brake cleaner and spray it around will change the idle if a leak is present
