P11 G20 ECU in a '95 b14?
I picked up an ecu from a p11 G20 at the local junkyard. Can I swap into my '95 200sx se-r? I searched this forum and got mixed results. I heard better performance is possible but modifications are necessary for certain years?

BTW my car is manual transmission and the g20 I got the ecu from is also a manual.

From what I had read it had to be a 95 and up P10 g20 in order to work right. And that would get rid of the speed limiter. You could just plug it in and see how it runs. Shouldnt hurt anything.

you should be ok. g20 ecu runs richer and has a taller rev limit.

From what I was told, P11 ecu's are 32 bit. You will need a P10 94-96 manual ecu.

Hmmm. I guess I'll try it and see what happens. Thanks!

P11 out of a 99 will plug in and work - however you will have a CEL issue.
P11 out of a 00-02 can work however it is not a plug and play affair and would require a complete re-pin with no worth while benefilts.

Better off with a P10 94-96 M/T for the results that you are after.

Dang. Ok, I'll leave it alone then. Anybody want a useless p11 manual ecu? lol

Sorry, I never did the swap because of what LAM-PARK said.
