Always replace the clutch release bearing (Throw Out Bearing) clips - they do wear and are relatively inexpensive.

Did you take any pics along the way ???

Are you able to get the car into gear with the engine off ???

Are you 100% sure that the 2 dowel pins that line the trans & engine are installed ??

Well i found the problem, it was the clutch cable and the clutch cable bracket was out of line, so redid some adjusting and the car went into gear with no problem, thanks guys for all your help
