Bought a 95 200sx se-r
So I came across a 95 200sx se-r the other day. They were asking for $500. So I called the guy made arrangement to come check it out with the mentallity of it being a possible parts car. I came to a negotiation of $200 and had it towed home later that day. The car was original owner and spent most of it's life in Alberta. The car had been sitting for almost a year. It wouldn't start for us there, the battery was dead and couldn't boost it. Shifted into all gears smoothly so I thought worst case scenario, spare trans, axle's, alloy's possibly part some stuff and scrap the shell. But I got to look underneath and the floor looked quite good, rear quarters have seen better day's but not to bad. Door jams had some bubbling (classic) but over all the body isn't to bad. Brake's are seized from sitting.
So I got some friends coming out this week to have a good look over it and see if we can get it running and to see if it might be worth it to try and get back on the road. If not I may try to find a donor car in abit better shape and swap everything to that. Either way I think it was worth the $200!!
Anyone know of any common issue's or thing's these are prone too? Thanks Dave, Oh also gonna be putting in some work on the b13 this week too!

Nice! that car will make more if you part out probably triple your profit. I just scored a 96 se-r few weeks ago. Took it home for $460, thing has 103,*** on the clock and has also been sitting. Alternator was bad and the battery was dead. I remember finding an se-l a while back and had one of my friends look at it. It was sitting for about 3 years and same thing, alternator. After he changed the alternator it ran fine. But it sputtered for couple days because the old gas..Either way you got a great deal.
