headlights
Just got some new headlights and clear corners...The inside chrome part is loose and moving around a bit inside. If I attempt to take them apart (bake at 200 degrees for about 5 min) Is the inside chrome part bolted to anything or is it just sandwiched between the clear front and the plastic back?? The manufacturer claims they were just fine, saying usps damaged them (they appear perfect otherwise) saying that usps should reimburse me my money...I'm sure usps will blame the manufacturer and nothing will get resolved ....not sure what to do...anyone got any good ideas? After spending $185 I shouldn't have to attempt to fix them...If they break , then I'm really screwed...sorry for the long rant....just looking for some help

Try baking them, make sure you follow a good how to guide, its really easy to do, however you don't want to mess anything up. If I remember correctly, it is held in by a screw, so its an easy fix. Worse case scenario, you do mess it up, leaving you with the perfect excuse to do a projector retrofit, I like theretrofitsource.com for projectors, mine were plug and play almost. Good luck.

If you bought off ebay give the seller an ultimatum otherwise you should open a claim.

Re: headlights
You can use a heat gun to open them but it will be harder that if you baked them.
