Thread: P1400 help

It's almost smog time for me I've had a CEL since doing the RR swap. I ran the codes and had the temp sensor and another EGR code. I cleared them did the resistor bypass on the temp sensor took it for a drive the CEL came on again. I ran the codes and now I have p1400. I have completely delted the egr system so my question is if I buy another egrc solenoid and plug it in will it clear this code? I'm running out of time. Hopefully someone out there knows the trick to this.

I did the same thing went i went from 1.6-2.0 because of the smog, i just stole the solenoid off the 1.6 motor and plugged it in and mounted it underneath the intake manifold out of sight and took care of it
