No drill sideskirts installation
I am thinking of putting SE-R skirts on a 200sx SE .
My question is,had anyone ever installed these without any drilling?
I dont want to drill holes in the car,and was thinking maybe I can use a good 3M doublesided tape to attach them to the rockers, but still put the screws in the fenders.
What are you guys thoughts on this??

Looking at it ,it seems the OEM peices are thick,so I may need to use them, but remove the part that goes in the hole on the rocker.Replace that with tape, and I should be good, right??
Anybody tried this?

I put se-r sides on my base model a few years ago when I just got into these cars. I used double sided tape on the outside but drilled into the frame for the holes underneath. It looked oem to me. You should be able to get away with the 3M everywhere as long as you use enough of it as well as put the screws in the fenders. You may want to use a bit of sealant on the inside of the top of each piece to prevent water from getting to the tape over time.

I would use a jack with some wood to keep pressure on them after you install overnight just so the adhesive bonds better and you don't have any sag. See no reason why it wouldn't last if you use enough of it man.

I'm also going to be doing this with me winter beater SE, let me know what you end up doing (and pictures). I'll do the same when I finally get to it

Its tough because the out side trim of the skirts hardly touch the car. Its a very thin line to get the 3m tape to stick and hold to both sides. My tape wore down on Mr and now the side skirts sag under the doors just like are real bumper does. Give yourself plenty of time in the day, it will look OEM but idk how long it will last for you. I have some old photos on here of when i did this same exact thing to my b14.

Egg, you ever figure out a way to go about putting the skirts on? I'm getting ready to attempt this myself. Maybe so a short little write up if you figure out a working solution..
