Possible Mid-West Beam Bending?
I know i have asked before but i will ask again. I want to get this done but i do not like to drive half way across the country to get it done.

Is there any interest in setting one up? I am pretty sure i could get some shop to host this in the Madison, WI area. I am willing to drive to MN, IL, OH, IA for this if someone else could host it.

I have not contacted Steve yet until i can get enough people that will commit to this. Once that happens i will see this through and plan everything.

If any one is interested let me know or if you can host it where more people would show up, let me know. I am hoping for something this summer before August if at all possible.

I'm interested, as long as it's not to expensive and how far is WI from Ohio?

And what does he need to to do the Bending, my brother is suppose to be getting a shop soon and I could host it there.

Go to maps.google and use Madison, WI 53716 for the address and it will give you an estimate.

I think he only needs a floor to do it on but it would be nice to have tools just in case.

He needs a good, clean, flat floor, typically a two car garage; Two OEM B14 jacks; a good shop light; a 14mm socket and ratchet; and, I think, a 12mm socket or a crescent wrench. Someone dependable to receive his tools by FedEx or UPS. A decent place to stay Friday and Saturday night.

Its about $230 ish from what i have heard about the last couple of ones.

I am hoping there is more interest and maybe someone can host in Chi-town for a more central location, but Madison isnt too bad.

If money is a factor, then pretend that this is the single most important thing you can do to your B14 to have her handle correctly. Now stop pretending, because that's the truth.

This year has been my driveline and suspension year. I've added all kinds of bushings, bars, and all the little things to make her take curves better. Nothing compared to how she handles now with the beam bent. Really, hands down. I will go out on a limb here and be honest: I drive like a stupid moron here in the back roads of the north GA mountains, littered with dear and rednecks. I can now go even stupid faster around the mountain turns. Really, this is the best thing you can do to your car.

Yes the hype is big. But if you like going around corners fast or exiting cloverleaf exit ramps fast then this is for you.

I am thinking i should drive to MD at the end of the month and pay close to $500 for the total trip. Otherwise who knows when or if i can get it done.

I'd be willing to go out to chicago, or madison, as long as I can make it there and back in a day.

I'd be willing to go to Chicago, but thats about as far as I can go and it'd have to be later this summer for the cash to show up :/
