Retrofit Headlights Morimoto Mini H1
Hello. I'm a newbie here. Honda guy but am here to learn about SRs, and hopefully make friends.

My brother has a 95 200sx SE-R. Completely stock. Looking to help him fix it up.

Might consider getting one in the future. Who knows.

Anyways, this was done two weeks ago. I do retrofits for most cars/trucks/suvs.

Very nice. I plan to do a retrofit on my NX in the future as well. But I'm not sure yet which units to get. Need to know the size and stuff :P

Thanks.
Depends on what you're looking for. They obviously look really good and clean, so for cosmetic, it's hands down.

Budget wise, that's where it matters for performace with hid kits and projectors.

eBay kits are okay if you use hid relay kit to reduce flickering.

Btw,
What is an Nx?

NX2000/NX1600/100NX/NXR/Egg

The "other" B13 :P. See 2 subforums above this one.

I've been looking at theretrofitsource for a while now, and I'm gonna look for parts similar like those (Morimoto being a brand that they use as well).
I still need to find/make a set of clear glasses (though I know of a butchered set of USDM headlamps which have custom clear plastic glasses), and need to find out what size projector I can use (while still being able to put a shroud on it).

I was gonna go with the FX-R units, combined with the Ocular shrouds for my NX, but I'm not sure if they would fit in the units themselves. Do you, being a retrofitter, have any idea what unit I can use? Do you have access to an NX headlamp?

I'm also planning to do this on my Pulsar NX, which uses universal 7x6 units.

I came across this picture, of said unit, with the Ocular shroud. Looks pretty good to me:

It all depends on how big the housing is. Fx projectors are fairly bigger than the minis so it won't be an easy one, whereas the mini is simple, requires a lot less cutting. Fx might stick out and is little onger in length, so if not I'm not mistaken, the Nx headlamp pops up, so it might be a conflict there.

I believe if you can find the universal one on eBay, you can make it fit with minor fab to it.

This is what I'll be using to retrofit a pair for the older Toyota 4runner (95 and under)

I actually have an actual
Civic type-r headlight that I'll be doing. I'll post pics when I'm done.
Also, what info do you want to know? Pm me your questions.

Okay. I'd have to physically see the headlights to measure it. Hard to tell. The back piece or top piece is my main concern.
