Oh I know, PA state inspection is like nazi Germany with all the damn regulations. I actually don't have either air bag connected, my drivers is still there just not plugged in right now. No lights on tho and I have the original cover, so whatever I put inside it or make it will still close and have that cover so no one can tell, however just in case, I got a buddy to help get it passed

dude reinforce the cover and make hinges and a little push button opener.. How sick would that be?

That was kinda the plan, I just gotta find some hinges that'll work and a way to open them by a mounted button in the glove box. This way you can't tell anything was altered lol.

You are right, the PA inspection stuff is RIDICULOUS. I am at the point where I'm considering never modifying another OBDII car again, as long as I live in PA. I understand having to make sure people's car have working brakes, tread on their tires, but I failed because they said the brake lines weren't properly "attached" to the struts and my battery tie down was loose. It's all a big scam, and it will never change because the auto repair shops are in on it because they make more money. They will fail you because your windshield wipers "streak" in a spot or two, then charge you FIFTY DOLLARS to "install" a pair of new wipers that cost $6 each at walmart. And its not like they come out to the waiting room, or call you first, and say "you need new wipers" in which case I' go buy some and put them on myself.

As for your idea, to be honest I don't know if the ECU will rat you out that the airbags have been disconnected when they run the diagnostic.. might want to check with someone on that.

I'm running OBD I step down harness, no OBD II for me....my friend told me 96+ gotta hook up to the computer and theres really no way to beat it, but mines a 95, so he told me he could just hook up some other car (he knows will pass obviously) and get me some legit stickers

So today i painted and installed my Stillen front lip. Put in my G20 armrest and then thought, hey, where did I store that playstation....and here you go. The cables go down through the dash so you can't see em and I can put the controllers in the glove compartment. Works like a charm
