Thread: ...so I got to thinking

Well right now I have no passenger side air bag and although I do have a spare b14 I can pull it out of, I got to thinking....I rarely have a passenger, what if I fabricated some kind of dash pocket. Maybe install a little cooler in there lol! I mean there's a decent amount of space and another glove compartment would be nice. Anyone else ever do something like this? (Pictures if so!) Figured I'd see if anyone had some other good ideas?

Ive seen guys do gauges and stuff, if i remember right in japan there was no airbag over there and it was a lil dip down pocket area, but they are rhd's over there so was on opposite side lol.

I thought of maybe gauges, but I feel like that's so far away lol. Plus I don't have any to install currently so I was thinking just a pocket or something. You got a picture of what ur talking about on the dipped pocket? I wonder if I could get my hands on it maybe I could at least use it as a template to make one if it wont plug in right

well its all one unit over there, just one big solid plastic dash that dips down no airbag cut out, like i saw a p11 dash earlier someone posted on here earlier and its the saem thing, no airbag cutout but a lil dip down tray type thing isntead. You could always put some plutonium gauges or a nice tv in there bttf it up baby

Oh, I see....lol I do have a little 7in flip out DVD screen in my head unit, I could put a gaming console in there. Maybe like my old Nintendo. Rip some duck hunt at red lights haha!

I say a giant freezer with some 6 packs.

Plug my power converter in, run it behind the dash, and run the plug down from inside, make a holster for the gun, maybe build a little rack to hold some games. Plug it into the brain of my head unit which is also behind the dash. Just line inside the hole with foam so the console doesn't bang around....I think I'm gonna do it this weekend till I can fabricate a nice like pop up door to make it like a second glove box lol!
