Anyone ever use an O2 sensor simulator?
I was considering getting one so I could utilize a straight exhaust with just a muffler and no cat. I know we can't eliminate the O2 sensor on the header, but I was wondering if anyone has eliminated the second one on the cat. I know a guy that can build me an exhaust, I just need to know if I need to buy a high flow cat or if I can just delete it.

You can eliminate the front one, you need the plug taper though for the hole, but you'll get a check engine light of course. If you read my recent thread, I had NO rear 02 sensor on the car I bought and of course had a code, replaced it with a new one and still have codes. These things are a pain in the arse

I'll say. I don't believe I have any codes for mine, but I wanna delete the rear for a straight exhaust with no cat. I might just say screw it and get the high flow cat.

If your state/county has emissions I wouldn't mess too much with it. If it doesnt then you can always just pull the bulb from the dash light that will pop up.

no emissions in fl, ranzo if anything have your guy tap a hole for the rear o2. otherwise your check engine light will pop on.
