Thread: A noob, with a noob question!

My ECU went out in my 97 SER , I bought a 95 SER ecu its cranks but wont start. Here sum backaround on the Motor , DE/ VE head stock.DE everything nothing been touched just a CAI . Im jus soo lost.

How do you know the old ECU is bad?

And you found out why it burned and fixed that, so when you hooked up the new ECU it did not fry that one too, right?

It sounds to me like you may have other blown electrical components, and your alternator may be over charging, killing tons of stuff all at once. Have you checked your fuses?
