Man, problems like these bring me back...
You will also lose your antenna...radio is dead anyway.
You will NEED the following-
-Euro N15 Heaglights (From Germany are the best)
-Any spec corner lights
-Euro or UK plugs (none are interchangable; Headlight & corners)
-Euro or UK fenders (I would go new as used will most likely have rust in the fender roll)
-Euro or UK fender splash shields (makes it easier)
-Side indicator lights and plugs
-Euro/UK/JDM N15 Grill
-Euro/UK/JDM Hood
-And of course the bumper with the bumper holder and brackets
A good set of used foglights are hard to come by, PH2 at least. They are the only ones that will plug into the stock US light plugs.
Now the labour-
After taking it all off, cut off the old headlight brackets as these will get in the way. Becareful where you cut/grind.
Do all the rewiring before you reassemble. Test all lights.
Reassemble starting with the fenders. Install the side indicator lights, running the wires of the fender roll.
Install the bumper brackets and holder. Keep the four bumper holder to bracket bolts finger tight so you can adjust the alignment.
Install the other four nuts to the fenders.
Install the headlights, use a 1/4 drive 10mm with a 8"+ extension for the side bolts.
Next come the corner lights. If you are a fidgety or impatient person, woosaw before this.
If you havnt broke anything yet, test all the lights. Still good?
Install hood (takes 1-3 people, I recommend at least two, do-able with one) keeping bolts finger tight.
Check and correct all gaps and tighten. Connect windshield washer sprayers.
Install Grill. I leave this last as mine is a hard to get VZ-R so I didnt want to take it on and off too many times. If you have to, my fav tool for this is long curved needle nose pliers.
Install the splash guards
Lastly, enjoy the new look and the 4" less of overall length.
Any Qs let me know. Or if I missed a step, just did it last month so should be good.
